Welcome to Play Safer! At Manchester United, we’re always keen to help youngsters improve their skills AND stay fit, healthy and safe.
So Manchester United Foundation have teamed up with Kumho Tyres and Greater Manchester Police to bring you ‘Play Safer’ road safety and football skills.
Now, you might not think being better on the pitch could make you safer on the roads. But ask Wayne Rooney, Ji Sung Park or any of the Manchester United team: they’ll all tell you that vision, awareness and control are essential when you’re crossing the road or out on your bike.
With ‘Play Safer’, Manchester United Foundation coaching staff help kids of all ages to develop their road safety sense and football skills.
There’s a range of fun activities, whatever your abilities. So remember: enjoy your football, support your team and, above all, ‘Play Safer’!
